KnowledgeWave Assists in $1,000,000 Grant

August 2009: St. Albans – The US Department of Labor recently announced a $1,000,000 award to Vermont Associates for Training and Development, Inc., a statewide non-profit that provides training and employment services to Vermonters age 55 and over. The Aging Worker Initiative: Strategies for Regional Talent Development is designed to train workers age 55 and older for jobs in high-growth, high-demand industries, and increase the workforce system’s capacity to effectively serve an aging worker population.

KnowledgeWave is Represented at Vermont Department of Labor Job Fair

February 2009: KnowledgeWave was represented by Vice President Eric Sokolowski at the Vermont Department of Labor job fair held for former IBM employees. KnowledgeWave has created a special Microsoft OfficeWave package as well as other technical retraining packages targeted to help update computer skills for recently displaced workers of the Essex Junction Vermont chip manufacturer.
