What to Expect in an RCI Class

The RCI Setting:
Typically, you'll attend an RCI class at the KnowledgeWave Partner location that is most convenient for you. It's also possible to attend from your home or office. The classrooms in our locations contain special equipment and software to connect you to the live class at another location. Often there will be other students participating in the same location with you.

The RCI Classroom Experience: An RCI class is hands-on, instructor-led training. Your workstation in the remote classroom will have the course software loaded and you will be provided with the manual and other materials for the course. The training is live and interactive.

By combining the enrollments across a broad geography and connecting sites via RCI, we've reduced our class cancellations to the lowest in the industry. Most of our scheduled classes run on the date and location of your choice - without a cancellation.

You will be able to:

View the Instructor’s Presentation Using Web conferencing, you can see the instructor’s desktop as he or she steps you through demonstrations or displays PowerPoint presentations. These images are displayed on an additional monitor or projection system in your classroom.

Listen and Participate Because you’re on a “live” phone line via a speaker phone, you can listen to the instructor and participate just as in a regular class.

View the Instructor’s Whiteboard A special capture device transmits everything on the whiteboard so you can follow along as the instructor illustrates concepts.

Get help from the Instructor Remote Desktop software enables the instructor to access to your computer and view your desktop. Should you need it, the instructor can take control of your computer during the class to provide help.
